one.com web site host

A friend of mine, asked me (no I don't know why either!), whether or not one.com is any good at hosting web-sites. Apparently they are offering a year free of fees. (Having looked - there is a set-up charge). He is thinking of setting up a web-site.

Has anyone here had any involvement with one.com and what is your opinion (good or bad)

Not tried it personally but the web reviews of this hoster don't look to good. If you read the T&C's you find...

" The purpose is not to function as an external hard drive for the storage of data in formats
such as zip, mp3, jpg, etc., but as a presentation/sales space for companies and private individuals. "


No Jpg? that seems a little harsh, there are reports of people having there accounts suspended for have a small number of jpeg on a personal website.

I would think twice, you do get what you pay for.
