Hi all,

After some help if possible?

Am using Excel 2016

I have 2 Excel workbooks saved in the same SharePoint folder (Book1 & Book2).

Book1 contains a data set on Sheet1 (cols A to P) - the most up to date version of the data. This will be a fresh export that has been saved to the SharePoint folder.

Book2 will sit constantly in the SharePoint folder. It contains a similar data set on Sheet1 (cols A to P), however, this will always be an older version of the data set. Thes data set is subsequently summarised via a Pivot Table & Pivot Chart on Sheet2 of Book2.

What I would like to be able to do is open Book2 and on opening it “gets” the most recent data from Sheet1 of Book1 and replaces the older data on Sheet1 of Book2. I then need the Pivot Table & Pivot Chart to refresh with the new data.

First question – I guess is – Is this possible?

If it is, my second question is how would I go about setting this up?

Many thanks in advance.
