Does anyone run Office 2003 on Windows 8?

After buying a laptop with Windows 8, I find out it doesn't run Office 2003. I was so concerned about the new interface, I neglected to research further.

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
I have it running on Win8 Pro (alongside 2007-2013) with no issues thus far.

Thanks Rory. I'll have my tech install 2003 and see what happens. I'm cheap, don't want to spend on upgrading! :)

I'd have upgraded Office before Windows. ;)

Im running Windows 8 (Pro) and have installed Office 2003. I have noticed some issues. I can not edit the colour of cells. And the spreadsheets that I made under XP with office 2003 do not show the shading and font colours I had set under XP.

Here is an interesting test. Open an office 2003 application make a file with just one line in it, make it a big line and make the colour Yellow. Now look at it in the native application (I did this in PowerPoint) now save it as testppt.ppt, Now save as the same file this time save it as .jpg. Now look at the results. The .jpg has a yellow line and the .ppt line is black. Something must have changed between office 2003 and Win 8 in the way they handle colours.

Other than this issue my UDF's and Macros seem to work ok.
