I have an Access application that references tables on a SQL Server.

I have command buttons that preview reports, which are based these tables. Every time the user clicks any one of these buttons, they are asked for a password to in order to connect to the SQL Server.

Is there any way to bypass this and hard code the password. I'd rather not have to give out the password to every user.

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Thanks...those links are helpful and gives me the following template:

oConn.Open "Driver={SQL Server};" & _
"Server=MyServerName;" & _
"DATABASE=MyDatabase;" & _
"Uid=MyUserID;" & _
"Pwd=My Password"

I thought of putting this in the Form Open event of my main form, but does anyone know how I would define 'OConn'? Defining it as a Connection doesn't seem to work...
