Yes I'm good thanks. The earthquake was in Christchurch which is in the South Island. It measured 6.3 on the Richter scale, which is less than the big September earthquake, but it was located within 10km of the city centre and was only 5km deep (as opposed to 30km deep with the previous one). There has been a HUGE amount of damage in Christchurch and at least 65 deaths. It is horrific. What is amazing is the number of people who are trying to help. Ordinary citizens pulling others out from under rubble and performing CPR etc. Emergency services simply can't get to everyone and it is now evening (and raining and getting cold) and there are still many people trapped under collapsed buildings. Unfortunately this is a dark dark day in our history and the news is not going to get better tomorrow.
