I know I've asked this before, but I can't find the thread where I asked it and someone was kind enough to delete my notes from my network so here I am asking it again...

What is a formula that will enable me to calculate the number of parts I can get fit on in 95". I had it set up so it would calculate the number of times the part would fit in 95", then tell me what the total length needed would be. Can anyone help me remember how to do this? If I muddle it out first I'll post it just so my work can be checked.
Thank you.

Examples
Part A length: 36
Part B length: 47.5

Excel Facts

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
If I understand right, then maybe something like this:

=INT(95/A2)*A2

Part length in A2 of course. And if you need the number of times the part will fit into 95 separated, then just the INT portion of the formula will provide that.
