Number Format Goes Haywire

I am working in large Excel files with PivotTables. I am having a recurring issue, typically triggered by refreshing a PivotTable, where my numbers will go haywire. This impacts the cells in the actual PivotTable but also those on other tabs. If I click around and scroll up and down enough, the numbers will go back to normal eventually. I am at a loss to what could be causing this. I am attached a before and after. No number formatting was changed between these screenshots. Only scrolling and moving between tabs.
