Hi,

I have a macro that opens a word document and imports data via bookmarks and named ranges.

the data has been validated in excel but when it gets into word it is just normal (i.e. £4.50 becomes 4.5). I would like to format cells in word so they show a currency instead of just normal values.

Any help much appreciated

many thanks

Edd

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
Hi, Edd.

I could help if it were a mail merge, but I don't know how your macro works. You might need to do something like format the value in the cell before you port it over to Word. I'm no coder, and I'm guessing something like:

format(cell.value,"0.00")

Either way, someone will correct me and help you now that the question is bumped back to the top.
