Hi:

This is just a FYI.

Not really sure what happened. I have been using an Excel file that is stored in OneDrive. In that Excel file, I have a bunch of formulas that using vlookup. As soon as I update column A with a dropdown list item, column B, C and D is updated based on the value in column A.

Yesterday, I tried to do my daily routine at home. For whatever the reasons. After I update column A, nothing is updated in those columns. I can see the formulas are still in each cell. If I go to individual cells in column B, C and D and click enter, that cell is updated with the expected value. I exited without saving.

Since this Excel file is saved in OneDrive, I remote to work and open the same file. No issue there.

Back to home, open the same file. Issue still exists.

I Googled the web and find out something has to do with the Workbook Calculations. I open my home Excel file and see that the option is set to "Automatic" which is default. I was thinking, maybe if I toggle this, it may fix my issue at home.

I set it to Manual, save and close, set it back to Automatic, exit and close.

Toggling the option solved my issue. Not really sure what happen.

The option I’m referring is
File – Options – Formulas – Calculation options – Workbook Calculation.

Thanks
