Hi,

For my VCE ICT unit one of the criteria is to "present database normalised to at least first normal form".

What does this mean and how do I do it?

Thanks in advance.

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
The first normal form for databases means that you should eliminate duplicative columns from the same table, and create separate tables for each group of related data and identify each row with a unique column or set of columns, i.e. the primary key.

You can also take a look here for the basics about normalization.
