Hi everyone,

I'm trying to do a normal distribution bell curve on a range of salaries. The x-axis seems not to be reading the salaries and hence I am not getting the right bell curve shape even though my data is normally distributed. I've done this before and it worked so I'm confused why its not working now.

I have uploaded the issue on OneDrive as well for you to see the issue. (https://1drv.ms/x/s!AgQdYsSdg735d-Fczxai3JMdLOU)

Many thanks,

Excel Facts

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
I just cleared up the empties in your data and it looks OK, attached

Thanks for the quick reply.

Is there anyway to rectify this issue that the graph would just skip empty cells. I am producing 15 automated bell curves and there shouldn't be any manual work involved as data should be read automatically reflecting changes in salaries. Basically, I cannot go and manually delete rows rather the graph should be smart enough not to pick them up.

many thanks

How are you getting the data?

I'm picking up data by adding individual salaries. I think I have to make two separate columns compiling data now. Unless, the graph was smart enough to ruin everything because of a few empty cells.

I thought you were getting the data through some sort of automated process?
