non-VBA preferred: save as PDF issue

Thank you for any assistance.
I have several worksheets in 1 workbook. Each has its own defined Print_Area and these ranges are not the same since most of the worksheets have unique structure. Also, the worksheets do not have the same cells selected.

I select several of the worksheets and try to export to a single PDF. The result is not the collection of the various Print_Area contents. Instead, the output seems to be affected by which cells were selected--possibly outputting the cells from each sheet matching the selection in the first worksheet selected? I get a single PDF but output from each of the selected worksheets is not the Print_Area range contents of the respective worksheet.

Seems I have forgotten how to do this. If not mistaken, I had a way to do this but have now forgotten how-to. Am looking for how-to-do manually but if only get VBA replies, that's OK--just not preferred for this.

Many thanks!

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)

I was selecting "Selection" rather than "Active sheets" in the Save as PDF dialog you need to raise so the several sheets are in a single file.
This is why the various Print_Area ranges were not being used.
