non-routine page numbering in Word 2003

I need to number pages in Word 2003 as 30.610.01, then 30.610.02, followed by 30.610.03 etc, etc. Can this be done in a footer ? Can it be done without a footer.

Hi arecube,

If you prefix your page #s with '30.610.', you could use a PAGE field in the document footer formatted as {PAGE \# 00} for the final two digits.

Note: The field brace pairs (ie '{ }') for the above example are created via Ctrl-F9 - you can't simply type them or copy & paste them from this message.
