when will the next version of Excel come?

what will it be called?

and will we be blown-away by its new features?

Hi,

Have you been blown away by the new features in any of the last versions? If not, it is doubtful that the next version(s) will have any enhancements that will encourage upgrading.

You will probably have to wait until Gnumeric or OpenOffice become more viable alternatives before you will see Microsoft put any effort into expanding the Excel product.

Due June 2006 (ish) beta's will be kicking about soon, have been told nasty early version o sorts been seen, unusable as yet

Call Office 12 for a shock maybe Office 2005/6 depending

Loads of new features but again little thrilling more intergrations stuff
