Hi friends,

is it still possible to use the much more logical R1C1 type of addressing in the newer versions of Excel?
I too, like some of your previous posters, 'grew up' on Visicalc etc and have been in love with spreadsheets ever since.

I say chaps, jolly good show, what?
 
Yes it is still possible - you can set it in the Formulas section in the Options.
