Newbie needs help with customer db

Hi all. I am new so please excuse my ignorance.

I have been asked to make a small database for work that will allow us to keep track of all our customers; it needs to have customer details, what they order, when it was installed etc.

I am wondering if there are any free templates around I can download and build on, as I said I new so if this has been asked before please excuse me.

Hi,

Welcome to the board.

The example database Northwind which come packaged with Office is an excellent example of the database you need.
It is for Customers and Customer tracking.

Take a look at that and posts anything your not to sure on.
