Hi everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself, and say thanks for the help I've received from searching this site over the last couple of weeks. My name is Tyson. I work for an Aerospace Manufacturer (supplier) and do a lot of data analysis.

Our ERP system handles the majority of our data needs, but the CMO needed an Excel Programmer on staff and I've spent the last few weeks wrapping my head around the entry-level basics (my educational background was centered around 3D design software, so programming is a new arena for sure).

We have experienced programmers on staff (Java and VBA) that were gracious enough to provide me lecture books from the Universities they attended and other materials that I've found helpful... but when I coded our new Quote Log (my first project I just finished) I found myself using google and this site continually had the assistance I needed.

I figured I would join as there are more projects in the pipeline and I found this site VERY helpful.

Thanks again, everyone!
Tyson
