Hi All, new PQ user here.

I have watched lots of videos today and now have an understanding of PQ. There are lots of videos about PQ updating with new data where there are new files in a folder (basically appending the data). Ok. But what I need PQ to do is to read only the current file in the folder. By refreshing the query/connection, it still looks at the old data.

Can I get the query to run/refresh and and only look at the new data in the folder or do I have to rebuild the query every day. The old data has been removed from the folder because it is no longer relevant.

Thanks in advance.

J.

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
If the old data is not in the folder, it will not be included in a refresh, unless it's been moved to a subfolder of the original folder (depending on your query).

Ahhhh.

I moved it to a sub folder. so it would still be included. I got it now. Thanks
