I have Access 2000. When I click 'New Query', it opens in design view. However, the dimensions are not right and also the 'pane' size is not right. Everytime, I have to adjust it. Once a query is saved, it opens with last size. But for a new query it is a headache. Does someonw have a solution for it? THanks.

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
Hi subodhjoshi,

You could start a new query, save it sized right, and use this as a template. Just make a copy everytime you need a new query, and change the tables and such as needed.

Yes, thats what I do. Normally, I create such a 'q_blank' and use Save As to save the modification; leavint q_blank intact.
However, I have to continuously generate new databases for fresh files. Closest I can do is import the query from earlier db. But what I really need is some way I can add a function/macro/module to Access which would be available in any new database I start.
