Howdy all

I have a form with several combo's, only 1 item from each combo is selected at any time, all other combo are left blank...
I want to create a form to show the totals from each catergory in each combo. ie
the form/table (record source) is called "colour"
combo1 contains red,blue,green
in the table there is 10 red, 5 blue and 3 green

I'm trying to use 3 text boxes to show the count but cant get my head around it.........

question:- Is there a way to do it or do I have to re-design my colour form?

Much appreciate some pointers on this one

Cheers all

Ian

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
If your form is linked to a query I would create a calculated field that would sum the fields where the totals appear. Then all I would do is add the calculated field to the form.

Its pretty simple if it is based of a query.

Various queries

Hi parra

There is about 10 items in each combo and a total of 8 combos,
would this mean I would have to create around 80 queries with
different names so it would count each seperately in the form.
I want the form to look like a chess board but with obviously more
boxes to show the counts for each month on seperate forms

cheers
Ian
