Apologies if this has been answered before.

In this thread
http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/showthread.php?t=295835
I've repeatedly tried to post a formula, using code tags, quote tags, and plain text, but it keeps cutting off all characters, starting with the LESS THAN symbol.

I thought code tags were meant to avoid this problem, am I doing something wrong or is this a bug ?

Hi Gerald

Place a space after the "<" symbol - this should allow the rest of the formula to be posted.

Either that or use one of the HTML Makers to post your sheet.

Dom

Is there a fix for this [without having to add spaces, new posters in particular won't know that]?

As Gerald implies, using < or > on the old board sometimes caused this problem....but only when formulas were posted without code tags, using code tags always fixed it previously.

Also, previously, if formulas were mangled in this way it was still possible to view the "unmangled" version by quoting the post - that isn't possible now, if you quote it you see the formula as displayed
