New Board: Date format

Since the upgrade, the date that previous messages were posted is only displayed in U.S format, even though I have my timezone set to GMT.

Is there any way of displaying it in the correct format for non-U.S residents?

Only one format can be set for the board.
Time zone doesn't affect the date format.
 
Then I would suggest to display the month as a string if possible.
This would avoid confusion.
