Hello,

In Networkdays formula, we have "holidays" part, where we can easily use excel list of holidays that we created in advance.

But what I want to do is to note holidays in the formula manually (not from existing list). For this reason I write holidays in the Networkdays formula with the help of Datevalue formula. When it is only one holiday, it works. But of course I have several holidays that I should note, and the formula doesn't work.

Maybe you have an idea how I can make Date value work with date ranges?

Thank you in advance

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Why not just use the holidays list like it's meant for, by entering a range that is a list of holiday dates?

When it's for your own use - yes, why not.

But when you share the file with customers, it is not sophisticated to have the whole list in the sheet.

Why not just use the holidays list like it's meant for, by entering a range that is a list of holiday dates?

I dont think it's possible, it allows one date but not more than one.

It's only a list, stick them on another sheet out of the way if you don't want them to be seen, hide the sheet if necessary.

@ Metty:

If you still need this, here is how you can note multiple holidays in the formula manually:

=NETWORKDAYS(A1,A2,{"2019-11-28","2019-12-25","2020-1-1"})
