Hi-

I built an excel calculator that will determine the numberof total work days between two dates. The tricky part I have is I need to avoid all weekends. I have a start date in C16, and the problem Iam having is, if that date in C16 is a weekend of a holiday, (I have an arrayin L16:L28 for holidays) then I need the date to move to the next workingday.
What formula could I use to ensure that when a date is putin C16, that D16 will recalculate C16 to the next working day?

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
This should give you the next Monday

: =A2+(7-WEEKDAY(A2,2)+1),

I think I misread the question initially.

NETWORKDAYS finds the number of working days between two dates.
If you want to find the WORKDAY itself, based on a start date, number of days, excluding weekends and holidays, you can use the WORKDAY function.
That is shown here: https://exceljet.net/excel-functions/excel-workday-function
