Hi, help would be appreciated.

I have the following formula which references another workbook. I would like to reference the column highlighted in red to change per a named cell in my current workbook (not the workbook being referenced). The goal is to create a sum function that can be changed on demand.

=SUM('[2014 Budget Spread.xlsx]budgetspread'!$E$13:F13)

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
try this:
=SUM(indirect("'[2014 Budget Spread.xlsx]budgetspread'!$E$13:"&A1&"13")

Where instead of A1 you use your reference cell.
