I'm executing a Word macro through an Excel macro.

I'm trying to map Excel cells to a Word table.
the table has nested columns/ rows within it and I'm not sure how the Word cell mapping changes. is there a reference doc somewhere that explains this?

I understand that (1,1) is R1C1 and so on.
But what happens when R5C1 suddenly includes 2 columns?

Thanks,
-E
