Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Excel does not like negative dates. Be sure that the column that is not showing in the chart that contains negative values is formatted as a number in the chart. The chart may be converting it to a date since there are other dates in your table.

It is a tricky one, maybe it can't be done, all the other time line results are general formatting, I did change them all to number formatting and that time line still isn't showing.

Bar, so i would expect the bar to go backwards from the others, starting right and going back to the left, where the others start left and go forward to the right

I highlighted B7:E15 and added a Clustered Bar Chart. This is the formula that was created:
=SERIES(,Sheet1!$B$7:$D$15,Sheet1!$E$7:$E$15,1)

The 'Board Presentation' bar is going to the left, the others are going to the right. I am not sure why yours is not doing that. Try the date in a new workbook in case the current one is corrupted in some way.

That kind of info is well-represented by a Gantt chart. This site: https://www.smartsheet.com/blog/gantt-chart-excel
Shows how to set it up in Excel.

Mine reads similar

SERIES(,Sheet1!$B$5:$c$5,Sheet1!$b$7:$c$18,
Sheet1!$e$5,Sheet1!$E$7:$E$18)
