Need Weekend day warning

I need a formula that will give a warning if the date entered in cell is a weekend day.

If you have a date in A1 try this in B1

=IF(AND(A1<>"",WEEKDAY(A1,2)>5),"Weekend",OK")

....or you might want to try Data Validation to stop a non weekday being entered in the first place....
