Hello all

I have data below (sorry i can't use the xl2bb file format on my work computer) where i need the xxx cells below populated with the single number. I want to be able to add names on the right for whatever pairing i desire and show the number. The names should be able to be looked up regardless if i choose the name horizontally first or vertically. I guess it won't matter as its finding the 'coordinate'

So on the right Bea Baker and Dave Morris should populate "67". Is there a formula i can put in the cells that have the 'xxx' in there?

Just assume the first column you see is "A" and the xxx data is column "K"

Then the first row of data is row '1' down to row '6'.

If you need the xl2bb file to make it easier, let me know and i'll have to download offline.

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
