In planning for next year the operations team will prepare a table with activity and the month they plan. Into a seperate ttable they will list items such as cost and time by staff member for each activity

They would like to adjust the month so as to balance time and the cost of each activity.

How do I reflect the month selected from the top table in the bottom table.

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
Thank you very much. Solved my work problem

Now I have to work out why for my own satisfaction. Excel never ceases to amaze me
