Hello,

I'm hoping someone can help me on this. I've looked everywhere and the only thing I can find is formulas where I must identify which occurrence of a value I want to return. However, what I'm looking for is to apply a formula to all of the recurring values to return which occurrence it is.

I feel like there should be an easy way to do this, but can't seem to find it online. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, for any trouble. I found the formula and lo and behold is was more simple than I thought. =COUNTIF($A$2:A2,A2) filling this down a column get the results needed.
