Hi Experts,

Please can you suggest if power BI is a right tool for this:
Integrate data from various sources, match addresses (Removing all spaces, characters and comparing and highlighting the differences)
Add columns where relevant and update the sheet based on different sources for each column

It is huge manual task, Can I do this entire things above using Power BI

Regards

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
That's a broad question, and statements like "add columns where relevant" could suggest even bigger issues. The quick answer is that you won't find anything better!

Question #1 for you is what are your various sources and do they update on different schedules? I use Excel Power Query instead of Power BI in those situations because I have macros to run only the queries that have fresh data on that day rather than the whole thing. You can kick off each query manually in Power BI of course, but it depends how many you have and how much time each takes.

Certainly Power BI is excellent at integrating various data sources - once you get past the initial setup you click a button and go for coffee and the work is done. Everything you ask for is feasible, though a phrase like "highlighting the differences" can mean several things... do you want a new column that says "x has changed" etc.

Addresses are always troublesome - "5th Avenue" and "Fifth Avenue", but that's true of any tool.
