Hey Mr.Excel users,
I have been trying all week unsuccessfully trying achieve the following in excel . There is around 1700 unique ID's that I need to do this for so it would ultimately have to be a formula that can be applied to each column. It does not matter which date is populated if there is more than 1 option for a column.
Here is the test file
Remove duplicates removes all duplicate information and does not really achieve anything. I have tried using a pivot table hoping that it would remove duplicate ID's and populate all fields. I have also tried using vlookup and index(...., match(....)) to return dates in the cells but this also does not work. I cannot think of anything else, does any one have any ideas that may help?
Thanks!
