I'm pretty sure that there are lots of threads on this, but all of the threads that I have read through I can't get the formulas to translate to what I'm trying to do for some reason. I'm still really new to all of this and I've watched countless videos and I just can't get it.

What I'm trying to do is get our employees to populate a list based on the shift that they are working. So on part of the sheet if I type a 5 the list will populate with names for everyone from shift 5 that is on my master name list which is a different sheet that has all of my employee information. I don't even know if this is the best way to do it. The previous person just copied and pasted the information on to a new sheet every day.

Here is a snapshot of what I'm looking at.... I have formulas in for other cells for time in and out and looking up names based on ID's. I just need help with the Shift.... and probably more later, if I'm honest, lol :)

Here is the list that I am getting the information from and any help would be appreciated. I may just be attacking this from the complete wrong direction.

Thanks in advance!!

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
