I have a tornado diagram with a min of -500k and max of -33k. I have set the min and max accordingly, and while the min is on the axis (it's cut off in the screenshot, but it's there), the max is not. My client wants both min and max on the axis and I can't figure it out. The major unit is simply (max-min)/3
Bonus question: he also wants the axis marked where the x-value crosses. I don't think this can be done, but can I add a label that will update whenever the values change? Any help would be appreciated.

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
can you provide the series data? Also, is the 3rd bar from the top supposed to be blue then red? Or maybe the other bars are reversed in color? How are upper values below lower values?

Thanks for your response. Here are the values. The values are negative because it's net budget impact and the intervention is cost saving. These are sensitivity analyses with 'high' and 'low' values for key parameters and sometimes a low value is more cost-saving than the high value and sometimes it isn't.

Unfortunately, my work computer won't let me install XL2BB so I can only take a picture of the data:

ok. well charts don't copy with xl2bb, so that isn't that critical. But the data is I'll try to type it in manually, but be warned there could be typos.

so, with the lists above... how do I know what to make blue and what to make red? They're all negative above? I know this may be a result of the axis intersection. But I still need to know how you know which is blue and which is red.

OMG you moo at cows too! So the column labelled 'lower' is the blue series and the column labelled 'upper' is the red series. If you look at the third row of data versus other rows, you can see why the colours are flipped on the chart.

Just as I was about to throw in the towel, I discovered the answer, which I think is pretty random. You have to round the min and max to 0 digits.
