Hi Team,

I need the below data in separate each cell and remove "o "

book1
B
14o Fantasy o Sitcoms o Action o Documentary o Drama o Reality TV o Mystery o Cartoon o Travel or Holiday o Food o Sports o Crime o Music o Other (anchor) o N/A – I do not watch/stream TV (anchor, mutually exclusive)
15
Sheet1

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
With Power Query, split with a delimiter of o+space and select rows

Power Query:
let
    Source = Excel.CurrentWorkbook(){[Name="Table1"]}[Content],
    #"Split Column by Delimiter" = Table.ExpandListColumn(Table.TransformColumns(Source, {{"Column1", Splitter.SplitTextByDelimiter("o ", QuoteStyle.Csv), let itemType = (type nullable text) meta [Serialized.Text = true] in type {itemType}}}), "Column1")
in
    #"Split Column by Delimiter"
Power Query is a free AddIn for Excel 2010 and 2013, and is built-in functionality from Excel 2016 onwards (where it is referred to as "Get & Transform Data").

It is a powerful yet simple way of getting, changing and using data from a broad variety of sources, creating steps which may be easily repeated and refreshed. I strongly recommend learning how to use Power Query - it's among the most powerful functionalities of Excel.

Hi, here's a formula option you can try for XL365.

Excel Formula:
=LET(ts,TEXTSPLIT(B14,CHAR(10),,1),MID(ts,3,LEN(ts)))
