Need help writing macro to extract text from one column of entire workbook if another column meets certain criteria

Need help writing a Macro to search entire workbook for the date in column C and if it meets a certain criteria, I need to extract the text in column A for that row into a new worksheet. Also I need to know if I can modify the criteria date (as that will change from week to week). If I can do this without a macro please let me know. I have wrecked my brain trying to come up with a formula to automatically extract the

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
If the data base is in sheets(1) and you want to extract to sheets(2) then the formula would need to go into sheets(2). So, in Column A of sheets 2 you would have:

Formula:(sheet2!A2)
=IF(Sheet1!C2=A1, Sheet1!A2, "")
Formula:

Then drag it down.
