So i am creating a spreadsheet and I need help a conversion that I need. I am looking to have a number that falls within a range of numbers, be converted into a numeric value in a different cell. The catch is that the range of numbers is decided by gender and age. For example:

A1 is gender
A2 is age
A3 is number that falls within a range of numbers
A4 is the score associated with all of that

Example:
A1: Gender (Male)
A2: Age (22)
A3: anything within 55 to 65 will give a certain score
A4: The actual score (100)

I hope this makes sense

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
"to have a number that falls within a range of numbers"
Vague.

"be converted into a numeric value in a different cell."
Still no better off.

"the range of numbers is decided by gender and age."
We're not getting very far, are we?

More info required.

What are the ranges of numbers that A3 can fall into?
If they are tables then you need to supply the tables.

Specifically supply some input data and some output data of what you expect.

Please do not post the same question multiple times. All clarifications, follow-ups, and bumps should be posted back to the original thread. Per forum rules, posts of a duplicate nature will be locked or deleted (rule 12 here: Forum Rules).
If you do not receive a response, you can "bump" it by replying to it again, though we advise you to wait 24 hours before doing and not to bump a thread more than once a day.

Since you have more replies on the other thread, I am locking this one.
Please take the time to familiarize yourself with all our rules (and slow down on the overzealous bumping, please!).
