Hello All,

I am trying to create an excel with start dates and response date to a ticket, in first row I am getting correct answer but in the second row I was expecting 61.58 but instead I am getting 13.58. Can you please help in explaining why this is the case. I've provided the formula I used to find the difference as well as Conversion.
Start Date
Response Date
Difference (Column 2 - Column 1)
Conversion [=TEXT(C2,"hh.mm")]
4/15/2024 10:50
4/15/2024 11:12
0:22
00.22
4/12/2024 17:10
4/15/2024 7:08
61:58
13.58

Thank you.

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
"hh.mm" represents time of day which excludes the full (2) days ie 48 hrs from the 61.
Use ,"[h].mm" which represents duration.
