Hello forum friends, need help with this formula as it is returning a result of 19919 if I enter a date of birth in 'personal information'!E5.

I entered May 6, 1954 in 'personal information'!E5 hoping to see a result of 2019.

Code:
=IF('personal information'!E5=0,"",'personal information'!E5+69)

Appreciate any help or advice on this one. Thanks!

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
19919 is 14 July 54
How do you expect to get 2019?
you are adding 69 days to the date, if that's meant to be years then it will be 2023.

Your formula is adding 69 days to the birthdate, not 69 years. If you are only interested in year value, try this formula...

=IF('personal information'!E5=0,"",Year('personal information'!E5)+69)

but note that adding 69 to the year 1954 will yield 2023, not 2019 (you would have to change the 69 to 65 to get that result).
