need help with a formula

Hey There!

I need some help with a formula that I can't figure out. All I want to do is enter an amount multiplied a percentage and the total is the original amount plus the multiplied percentage. In other words the total amount plus the percentage amount.


Can anyone help me.......please!!!

=A1+A1*B1

where A1 is an amount and B1 a percentage.
