Need help to read data from Database and write it in Excel.

We are creating a software which will read the sensor data from the machine ,store it in database and write it in a excel. We need to add some data manually to the excel and need to store the user entered value into database. We did it using python and react it was working fine. But the computers which we are going to implement are low end machines so our software is running slow. Now we are looking for a way to do it in excel itself. It is possible to do it in excel and can you folks please help
