Hello, I one table "actual sales" and another table "sales goal". I have columns for sales rep, product ID and month.

How do I create a relationship in these two tables? (I think that is what I need)

I want to be able to create a power pivot and pull the sales rep and actual and then pull in the goal.

I have uploaded a workbook with some sample data.

Could someone please help me out?

Thank you

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
glad it worked! don't forget that you can't use the fields from the sales (fact) table when pivoting. You need to use the one from the lookup table otherwise you won't be able to compute the right calculation for the goal amount.
