need help on sales commision

from 1 to 1000000 = 6%
1000001 to 1500000 = 7%
1500001 to 2000000 = 8%
2000001 to 2500000 = 9%
2500001 to 3000000 = 10%
3000001 to 3500000 = 11%
3500001 to 4000000 = 12%
4000001 to 1000000000000000000000000000 = 12%

i need a formula to calculate the commision shown above in excel

Let A1:B9 on a sheet called Admin house the above table, the headers included.
Select A2:A9, go to the Name Box on the Formula Bar, type AMOUNTS, and hit enter.
Select B2:B9, go to the Name Box, type PERCENTAGES, and hit enter.

A2:A4 house some example amounts for which we want to determine the appropriate percentages as in B2:B4 or percentage values as in C2:C4.

B2:

=INDEX(PERCENTAGES,MATCH($A2,AMOUNTS,1)-(LOOKUP($A2,AMOUNTS)=$A2))

C2:

=$A2*INDEX(PERCENTAGES,MATCH($A2,AMOUNTS,1)-(LOOKUP($A2,AMOUNTS)=$A2))

We can make it simple by using IF :

Formula in B11 cell as under:
