Hi Experts,

Need your help on creating a calculated field in MS access query.

I have 3 Tables Headcount, Attendance & Break data, Training & Meeting

Headcount table has staff wise date and shift intime against which i need the staff wise date wise available hours and Break hours duration from Attendance table and also want Start time from Attendance table. Have attached the snapshot of the tables design i have created

Note: Attendance table has Staff wise & date wise type (available hours & Break hours) duration wherein a staff would have multiple break line items per day which needs to be summed on date wise

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
This is very likely to be more than simply a calculated field - or if you can do it in one field there will be subparts or nested calculation within it).

Break the problem into parts - solve the individual parts and test them. For instance, summing hours, summing attendance, filtering dates, counting total records, or joining data from one, two, and/or three tables and checking the joins are correct.

Then put together the final solution.
