Hello Everyone,
Is there a way to show a date as "MM-YYYY" format in power query or in DAX. The actual data is in "DD/MM/YYYY" format.
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards,
let
Source = Excel.CurrentWorkbook(){[Name="Table1"]}[Content],
Type = Table.TransformColumnTypes(Source,{{"Date", type date}}),
MMYYYY = Table.AddColumn(Type, "Custom", each Date.ToText([Date], "MM-yyyy"))
in
MMYYYY
this line: Table.AddColumn(Type, "Custom", each Date.ToText([Date], "MM-yyyy")), Mx2
change to Table.AddColumn(Type, "Custom", each Date.ToText([Date], "MMM-yyyy")),Mx3
or Table.AddColumn(Type, "Custom", each Date.ToText([Date], "MMMM-yyyy")),Mx4
will be Jun short month name or June full month name
