I download info from my local real estate MLS every week in order to produce reports.

The data has many errors in the "Original List Price" field.

I need a quick way of correcting the prices if they are more that 200% larger that the "Current List Price".

All of the "Original List Prices" are in Column D and "Current List Prices" in Column E.

So if D is 200% greater that E replace D with E.

Thanks!!!

Author John Walkenbach was Mr Spreadsheet until his retirement in June 2019.
Best way to do this is to create a new column and use a formula to get the correct price

Code:
=if(d1>2*e1, e1, d1)

So if the number in d1 is greater than 2 x e1, it returns e1, if not, it returns d1.
