Need help creating simple Patient/Doctor database.

Hello! I am fairly new to access and I have just barely gotten around to creating tables.

I want to create queries, on which I could see which patients are assigned to which doctors.
I have created patient personal information and doctor personal information tables.
I was wondering, if i could, by having a dropdown menu of specializations for doctors, to have doctors assigned to certain patients with certain illnesses? Is that even possible and if so, how do I accomplish it? I am supposing i would need a third table, but i can't seem to understand how to accomplish this.

You have a many to many relationship here and need a junction table to join them.

I did create a junction table now, as instructed, however i can't achieve the desired effect. I want to create another table called appointments, which would generate a doctors name from the doctor table, based on which illness i choose. For example for tooth pain i would like the table to assign a dentist but i do not know how to accomplish it.
