I'm fairly experienced with excel but there has got to be an easier way to do this...

I'm trying to create a track schedule where there are 7 teams in a league. There are 5 track meet dates and 2 host sites per track meet date. There is 1 school that can't host meets (so only 6 host sites available).

I need to randomly select from the 7 teams for each track date (5 in all) and split the 7 teams into the 2 host sites. I need all teams to compete with each other as equally as possible.

What is the easiest way to do this in excel? I would love to be able to enter...team names, meet dates and the host site for the meet date and let excel randomly create the table. Is this possible?

Thank you so much for any help you can provide!!

If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
