Hello Everyone,

I have multiple excel files in a folder with names "A 08-24-16 File1", "A 08-24-16 File2", "B 08-24-16 File1", "B 08-24-16 File2", etc..

I need help with VBA/Macro to combine two excels with same first name (in this case all A together, then all B together) with the output name as "A 08-24-16 Consolidated", "B 08-24-16 Consolidated" etc. so on and so forth. Further, each output consolidated excel will have two worksheets "File 1" and "File 2".

Please help.

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
forgot to add that each excel "A 08-24-16 File1", "A 08-24-16 File2", "B 08-24-16 File1", "B 08-24-16 File2", etc.has only one worksheet with data in it.
